Pallet Truck (PPT)

The powered pallet truck (pedestrian) often shortened to PPT is an electric low-level lifting and moving forklift. They suit all types of light-duty applications, such as horizontal transport, loading/unloading and order picking. As the name suggests the operator walks with the machine, either in front or behind or can ride on the machine.

Pallet truck training courses are designed to provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate pallet trucks.. These courses are essential for those working in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other settings where palletised goods need to be moved efficiently and safely.

Duration:

The duration of pallet truck training courses can vary, but they are always designed to be concise and focused. Some courses may be completed in a single day, while others may span a few days. The length of the course is dependent on the type of Pallet Truck as well as learners previous experience.

Certification:

Successful completion of the training course will lead to the issuance of a certification on behalf of JLD and the awarding body RTITB, demonstrating that the individual has met the necessary requirements to operate pallet trucks safely.
