Chris Sharman
Director
Chris has been a director at JLD for a number of years and co-founded JLD Driver Training Ltd. His extensive industry knowledge and experience is what has led JLD to its greatness today. You can either find Chris out instructing in our HGV’s or in the office where he can offer advice and guidance on our extensive training portfolio.
Jacob Large Forklift Instructor
Jacob is one of the newest members of the JLD team and brings his experience as a qualified forklift instructor to the business. As Chris’ step-son and Lauren’s brother, Jacob is another member of the family to join JLD, making the business even more family-run. With a strong focus on safety and practical training, Jacob uses his industry knowledge to help candidates build the skills and confidence they need to pass their test and operate safely in the workplace.
Lauren Sharman Director
Lauren has been working at JLD for over 9 years and manages the day-to-day running of the business. Just some of the many areas she covers are the accounts, diary management, HR, awarding body accreditations, audits and much more. Lauren ensures the BTS run smoothly so you can enjoy your course without any stress!
Kevin Harris
HGV Instructor
Kevin has worked at JLD for many years and although he has recently retired he helps cover our courses when others are off as well as conducting the 3a and Mod 4 examinations. With years of experience within the industry Kev’s knowledge can be transferred to the courses he teaches and examines which enables the learners to go into their test confident! Kev is a great asset to the JLD team.
Derek Lucas
HGV Instructor
Derek is one of the newest members of the JLD team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the HGV driving and instructing industry. With many years of hands-on experience, Derek brings a high level of knowledge and expertise to his training, sharing his skills and experience with every candidate.
Nick Beasley MHE Instructor
Nick works with JLD as an MHE sub-contractor, bringing valuable industry experience and knowledge to the team. His practical, hands-on approach and experience within the MHE industry make him a great asset to JLD, helping candidates develop the skills, confidence and safety awareness they need to succeed.
Kenny
Office Pup
Kenny is our very own office pup, wherever Lauren is, is where you’ll find Kenny. He really is the super-star of the office, although we’re not sure how much work he’s really doing…
JLD also has a reliable network of sub-contractors that offer us a helping hand where needed! All sub-contractors are of the usual JLD outstanding standard and have years of experience within the industry!
