Category C1+E Licence

Once you have passed the C1 there are no further medicals or theory tests required to take this course. The C1+E provisional entitlement should have been added to your licence by the DVLA when they upgraded your licence after passing the Category C1.

Our standard C1+E course is 3 days long with the DVSA test on the 3rd day.

Training courses can start from either our branch in Banbury or our site in Abingdon (Steventon Storage Facility) but all training will be spent around the Abingdon area as there are currently no C1 or C1+E test routes available around the Banbury area.

All of our training takes place on the actual DVSA test routes so as to give the candidate the best possible chance of passing first time. We also have our own DVSA accredited test area so you can relax in the knowledge you will be in familiar surroundings on test day and reverse on the area you have been practicing on throughout your course.

Our instructors have passed an assessment which allows them to carry out the 3a off road manoeuvres test, the 3b on road test will be carried out by a DVSA examiner.

All of our instructors are trained to an extremely high standard, this means they have taken an advanced driving test and an instructional ability test with RTITB (NRI) or with our senior instructor to not only prove they can drive to an exceptionally high standard but also instruct in a manner that is clear and informative. Regular monitoring is carried out along with standardisation meetings to make sure we continue to deliver training of the highest standard.
