Fire Marshal
Fire marshal training courses are designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively carry out the duties of a fire marshal or fire warden. Fire marshals play a crucial role in fire safety within workplaces, public buildings, and other facilities.
Who is it for?
This fire warden/marshal training is designed for anyone appointed in the role of a fire warden in your workplace, as well as anyone who is responsible for overseeing fire safety and those who need to know how to use an extinguisher.
There must be a fire marshal in the workplace across all types of industries, as every work premise is at risk of a fire.
What Are Your Duties As Fire Marshals?
Fire wardens are not expected to be fire experts. However, their duties can include:
Assisting in ongoing ire prevention by staying alert for hazards
Help people to evacuate promptly in the event of a fire
Report to the ICO regarding the area they are responsible
Assisting with the development and implementation of the fire safety plan
Conducting fire drills and emergency evacuations
Ensuring fire equipment is in working order and properly maintained
How long is the training?
A training course lasts for around 5-6 hours including breaks.

Certification and Assessment:
JLD will provide a certificate from the awarding body and to gain this you will need to pass assessments throughout the day, assessed by our instructor.
