We are an independent business trading from two centres in Banbury and Abingdon. The name JLD has been associated with quality LGV/HGV training for many years and we believe that we provide the most professional services to the transport industry. Our customer base stretches from private individuals and owner managed businesses to large corporations and public bodies. We are dedicated to providing the best and most cost effective solutions to your training needs.

At JLD we are dedicated to getting you through your driving test first time so should you wish, we offer free assessment drives in order to gauge your level of competence and tailor the training to meet your needs. You will receive a written quotation at the end of your assessment outlining the costs for your course.

DSA Approved Instructors

The DSA set the rules for your test so it makes sense that we should be approved by them. All of our instructors have taken a further test with a senior DSA examiner to prove they can drive at an exceptionally high standard and instruct in a manner that is clear and constructive. Our extremely high first time pass rates reflect this training. When booking your driver training you are making a significant investment so it is important you make the correct choice when deciding on who to train with.
