At JLD Driver Training Ltd we now offer the following packages to make gaining your licence as simple and hassle free as possible.

 Our Four Packages:

The Bronze Package:

This includes JLD supplying the D2 & D4 forms and the standard 5 Day driver training and test (test on the 5th day).

The Silver Package:

This includes all of the Bronze Package plus JLD booking your medical, Multiple Choice and Hazard Perception theory tests and providing the online practice training material for the theory tests plus an optional driving assessment.

 The Gold Package:

This Includes all of the Silver Package plus JLD booking the Initial CPC theory test (Module 2), providing the online practice training material and also the training and test for the Module 4 Practical Demonstration Test.

 The Platinum Package:

This includes all of the Gold Package plus the C+E (artic)

All of the above packages include a JLD mentor who will plan your training and be available to provide information, advice and guidance throughout the training package.

ADR Courses – Initial and Refresher

The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road

All drivers within the scope of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 1996 must be trained and hold a Vocational Training Certificate issued by DVLA. This is required by UK regulations implementing the relevant EU directive.

Courses must be approved by DFT and drivers must pass the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) examinations which are integrated in the courses. There are no 'grandfather rights' and compulsory refresher training must be completed within the five-year expiry of the date of issue of the original certificate.

Why not get booked onto our next ADR course in April 2019.

You can also incorporate up to 3 days of Periodic CPC within the first 3 days of ADR training, totalling 21 hours gained towards 35 hours CPC requirements at a small additional cost.

Packages only: ADR classes 2-6, 8 & 9 (3.5-day course: Monday to Thursday)

Paediatric First Aid - 1 / 2 Days

Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) 1 day

This course is designed for anyone wanting to become qualified in administering first aid to children and infants. For the purposes of child carers within England, Wales and Northern Ireland, this qualification partly fulfils the legal obligations under the statutory framework for the Early Year’s Foundation Stage issued by the Department for Education and skills. This course is ideal for anyone who works with or comes into contact with children and infants in their working or voluntary roles. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents or young adults starting babysitting duties.

Paediatric First Aid (PFA) 2 days

This two-day paediatric first aid course focuses on emergency scenarios that face those looking after young children and infants, including day nurseries, private nursery schools, pre-schools, before and after school clubs for children in the early years age group, childminders and carers of children at home.

The paediatric first aid course meets the Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements.

Accreditation : Explosive (Class 1)

JLD has now gained accreditation to run the Class 1 (Explosive) category as part of the ADR course. For more information call our office.

JLD DRIVER TRAINING EXTEND KING'S SUTTON END SPONSORSHIP UNTIL 2019

The board of Banbury United are delighted to announce that JLD Driver Training will be extending their sponsorship of the club’s King’s Sutton End Terrace until the end of the 2018-19 season.
